CAB Pigment Chip Quinacridone PR122 for Automotive and Industrial Coatings & Paint

Klarint^® SIC-S4122B is a high-performance, pre-dispersed CAB pigment chip based on C.I. Pigment Red 122 and Eastman Cellulose Acetate Butyrate CAB-551-0.2 resin system. It is designed to offer a magenta hue with high transparency and excellent gloss. This product is specifically engineered for solvent-based coating systems where the CAB resin ensures superior compatibility and rapid solubility .

Unlike traditional paste, the CAB Pigment chip form is dust-free, significantly improving workplace safety and cleanliness while reducing pigment waste during manufacturing.

• Superior Dispersion & Transparency: Klarint utilizes a pre-dispersion process that breaks down the pigment to a nano-scale particle size (significantly finer than traditional grinding). When dissolved, it produces a color paste with a D50 particle size of approximately 200 nm, resulting in extremely high transparency, high gloss, and strong coloring power.

• Elimination of Grinding: Traditional pigment pastes require ball mills or sand mills for 8-12 hours. Klarint CAB chips dissolve in a simple high-speed mixer in 30-40 minutes, drastically reducing production time and energy costs.

• No Equipment Investment: Users can produce high-quality paint or ink without investing in grinding mills. A simple mixing tank is sufficient .

• Dust-Free & Clean: The solid chip form prevents airborne dust, making it environmentally friendly and safe for operators.

• Color Stability: The solid chips offer a shelf life of over 2 years (vs. 6 months for liquid pastes) and maintain color consistency (ΔE < 0.5) without settling or flocculation.

Packaging and Storage
